SYNOPSIS:
It’s 1999 at Silicon High School. Computer nerd Mark Steinberg and comic book geek Jimmy Ward wished they could be as powerful as their favorite comic book superheroes and save themselves from high school bullies like Robots quarterback Brent Bannon. Mark secretly pines for Gosilla Wong from a distance because she’s Brent’s girlfriend. When Mark’s computer experiment with a neural interface causes a school-wide power outage, they’re all sent to detention and punished with hall monitor duty for one year. The hall monitors get beaten up after school for reporting the bullies, so they form a secret society of “Superhero Hall Monitors!” Disguised as their favorite colorful superheroes, Owl Man with his sidekick Raven and Tsunami, the hall monitors roam the halls anonymously, using their inner superpowers to fend off bullies and protect students from evil and the tardy! But when Mark’s “FaceNet” experimental technology in their superhero masks causes unexpected abilities to manifest, will they come to their senses before their superpowers destroy them all?
